The Company through its CSR policy has taken up at the various initiatives for economically weaker and underprivileged section of the society to eradicate hunger, poverty; promoting preventive health care and making available safe drinking water; promoting education, including special education, employment enhancing vocational skill trainings, promoting gender equality, programs for empowering women and projects for environmental protection. We have established the Kogta Foundation to work pro-actively on ground in consultation with key stakeholders for understanding their social needs and designing sustainable initiatives that promote the wellbeing of the society in the long run.

We have incorporated ESG factors in our lending decisions from due diligence through the credit phase. Every product offered by us goes through an ESG due diligence, a process to screen for potential ESG risks and ensure ESG compliance and develop action plan for improvement. We continually identify and operate in compliance with all the applicable National and State laws and regulations and the guidelines defined by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) (as a minimum). We keep exploring ways in which our actions and initiatives can address various environmental challenges, give preference to eco-friendly and lesser carbon intensive alternatives and continually build capacity towards ensuring the same through relevant interventions.

We ensure a fair recruitment process which helps identify and hire people with the right values and treat all employees and third-party service providers fairly and respect their dignity, well-being and diversity. We do not employ or make use of child labour and forced labour of any kind and ensure to pay wages which meet or exceed the legal minimum wages.

Regular learning and development programs are conducted that are necessary to not only bring new employees up to a minimum standard in order to fulfill their job requirements, but also to enhance the skills for existing employees as well.

We provide safe and healthy working conditions to all the employees and contractors employed by us by assessing the health and safety risks arising from work activities, and taking appropriate actions to eliminate or reduce such risks. We focus on preventive mechanisms by conducting health and safety training which also includes basic first aid training, fire safety and emergency response trainings focused on developing the critical skills needed to survive an emergency.
